Frequently asked questions

Which locker locks are best for gyms and fitness clubs?

Most clubs choose RFID locks such as the Ojmar OTS 20 (Advance) or OTS 20 Batteryless, so members open their locker with the same card or wristband they use at the door. Keypad locks like the OCS 30 and mechanical combination locks like the OMS Combi suit clubs that don't issue cards.

Can you fit electronic locks to our existing lockers?

Yes. Retrofitting is one of our strengths. Ojmar locks are self-contained at the door, so in most cases we replace keyed or mechanical locks on your existing lockers without new doors, cabling or electrical works.

Do Ojmar electronic locker locks need wiring or power?

No. Every lock is battery-powered or batteryless at the door, with no cabling, power supplies or backup power. Stand-alone locks need no hubs; cloud-connected systems such as the OTS 40 (Pulse) link through a compact wireless gateway.

Which locks suit office and end-of-trip lockers?

For hybrid offices and end-of-trip facilities we often recommend the OTS 20, OTS 40 (Pulse) or OCS 30, which can use your building access cards or a smartphone, support shared and assigned lockers, and release lockers automatically overnight.
